Lithos Lighting

Lithos provides the base of the geological term ‘Lithosphere’ - the most immediate outer crust of our earth. As the pieces take majority of their form in sandstone, they are very much an abstracted yet raw form of our own lithosphere. The Lithos lighting series was featured for Melbourne Design Week 2025 as part of HARD following a successful debut in Melbourne Design Week 2022 garnering a feature from Design Editor, Stephen Todd in The Australian Financial Review.
The latest iteration of the Lithos series sees a new Lithos Candelabra as part of Joseph Gardner’s latest curitorial project - DONE/UNDONE at Craft Victoria

Lamps are constructed using Barrabool sandstone sourced from a demolished colonial period home, as well as steel reinforcement rods, discarded from a local construction site.
